United Way of the Bradford Area will be holding an informational meeting for non-profit, 501(c)3 organizations in the Port Allegany community at the S.W. Smith Memorial Library from 6:00 – 7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 23rd. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss questions or concerns agencies may have regarding the funding application, campaign funds raised, or inquiries about the mission of the Port Allegany Campaign for United Way and its service in the Port Allegany area.
“Being that this is our first involvement with servicing the Port Allegany area, we want to be available for conversation about our allocation process and address any inquiries about the upcoming campaign,” said Mandi Wilton Davis, executive director.
Davis will be available, along with UWBA Board Member (Port Allegany representative) Gwen Rush.
“We respect what the Port United Fund has provided to the residents of that area for so long, and recognize the continued need for the services and programs supported by the annual appeal. We are looking forward to working collaboratively with the community on continuing a successful fundraising effort,” said Davis.
The 2016 Port Allegany Campaign for United Way will kick-off on August 15th. More information can be found at www.uwbanews.org/portallegany, or by calling the United Way office.
