Community Impact – Bradford, Smethport and Port Allegany
Must be a qualifying 501 ( c ) 3 non-profit organization, as defined by the Internal Revenue Service, providing a health and human service program to the community that meets and supports the funding criteria of the United Way of the Bradford Area, Inc. Preference will be given to applicants submitting an application that aids in the health, financial stability and educational needs of our communities. Applications for the 2022 calendar year will be due Friday, September 24, 2020 by 2:00 pm to the United Way of the Bradford Area, Inc.
Quarterly Impact – Bradford
Eligible non-profit agencies may submit a request for up to $1,500 for Quarterly Impact funds. Awards will be given to programs or initiatives with the potential to make an immediate impact on the local community while being essential to the agencies mission. Priority will be given to those who have not received prior funding, who have supplied all necessary documentation, and request funding for programmatic costs. The deadlines for Quarterly Impact funding applications are February 1, May 1, August 1, and November 1 of the given year. A press release will be made available a month prior to submit an application and awards will be distributed the 1st of the following month. Programs for the this funding stream should be executed within two months time.
COVID-19 Reallocation Application – Bradford, Smethport and Port Allegany
Currently Funded Agencies: If your agency and funded program(s) has been negatively impacted by the Coronavirus Pandemic, you may qualify to have your funds reallocated to a new program (following UWBA guidelines) or changes within your current program. The COVID-19 Reallocation application will be available and accepted at any time for the remaining duration of the 2020 year.
